AFCCG Officiating Crew
Here is the crew that will be in New England on Sunday. In parenthesis, after the official's name, is the head of the crew for which he worked this year:
R- Jeff Triplette U- Butch Hannah (Walt Anderson) HL- Steve Stelljes (Mike Carey) LJ- Gary Arthur (Walt Anderson) FJ- Tom Sifferman (Ed Hochuli) SJ- Greg Meyer (Triplette) BJ- Greg Steed (Triplette) By process of elimination, it looks as though Mike Carey will get the Super Bowl, but it's too soon to say who the rest of the crew will be, although my best guess for the U is Tony Michalek. Congrats to Carey. His first. |

A few more details: Corrente will likely be the ALT and Reels will be the replay official, probably.
Interesting note: Sifferman (on Hochuli's crew) worked the first NE/SD game. |
Re: AFCCG Officiating Crew
Can you give anymore info on Triplette? Like any Pats or Charger games he reffed?

Steed was the back judge in the Denver game, and he's in this game too. Mayer was the side judge. He's no longer on Triplette's crew. I don't know which of them called the PI on Asante. |

Re: AFCCG Officiating Crew
Hate Triplette. He's got an attitude, and rushes to announce penalties without talking it over. Yes, he was the ref in Denver 2 years ago.
