Not to mention that interfering in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation violates the UN charter. The cover is that the action is being taken to prevent attrocities...pre-emptive measures. Where have I heard that before?

Where was the UN when 100,000 ethnic Turks were gassed? When hundreds of thousands more of Shiites were lined up and mowed down with machine gun fire into open pit graves, nazi style? Never mind pre-emptive, where was the post massacre action?(edit here: not to mention these hundreds of thousands were not in an armed rebellion against the government, threatening to take it down. Libya's govenment is suppressing an armed insurgency that threatened its very existence. It has not gone out and slaughtered for the fun of it. The UN has NO authority here, nor does the Obama administration)

I guess some make a difference.

Oh, whew. Good to know. So France is carrying this out. They really shouldn't.
You know, for a minute, I thought we had another coalition of the willing here, just with the new "best friend" instead of the old one, and a different set of stooges to support, along with a different agenda to accomplish.

You know, after returning the Churchill bust, then giving away all of Britain's nuke secrets to the Russians, then calling France your best friend and ally, one would have thought it was more of the same with a different agenda. Thanks for the clarification.
