Great Blue North 3 round Mock

Very interesting, it has us taking Jordan, Houston and Baldwin with the first three picks.

They did draft my favorite player with 17. The other 2 picks I may have went something like an OT or guard. I like the 3 picks personally. I just think our needs are different where they were picked.

Am I alone in thinking that Jordan and Baldwin could do big things in NE?

As far as the pick of Houston, I get the feeling that Matt Light's days in NE are coming to a close and if it isn't Houston, it will be someone else who will be drafted to close the door on Light's career.

No, Jordan is my favorite at 17. Jonathan Baldwin, I like what I've seen, but know very little about him as far as work ethic, prima donna or not? etc. Watching his highlight real sure is amazing. His size is 6'5 but he is fast looking on film. If he could be like Hakeem Nicks he is definately worth the pick. I just don't know if he goes past Baltimore or Pittsburgh, never mind into the 2nd round.

Our needs are different depending on the health and free agency of our offensive line. Not to mention another DE and LB should also be priorities imo.

Need to see him run before knowing if he can work in our offense as a deep threat.

I did not see him beating a lot of press coverage in the viedo clip.

On the plus side he caught a lot of ball with his hands and appears to have strong but soft hands.

I watched a lot of Baldwin this year. Dollars to donuts, those are last year's highlights. if taken before the 3rd round, he'll be a bust. Upside is Donald Hayes/Greg McMurtry #4 receiver. He's still, not all that fast (this year at least), shies from contact, runs bad routes, and is a major coaching headache who quits. He bought the hype from last year. I was stunned when I saw him loping round the field like a stiff giraffe this year.

Bad case of entitlement syndrome. :scream:
