Does anyone know much about Sam Acho?
I'm usually better at watching the Texas seniors and trying to scout them as much as I can. I focused more this year on the freshmen they brought in. What little I did notice of Acho, he definitely seems to be very disciplined. He didn't seem to over-pursue plays and very often made tackles for losses because he stayed where he needed to be.
I haven't seen anything on if he projects as a 3-4 OLB. I do know he has the attitude to be a Patriot. Very smart and goes on mission trips to Nigeria every year. Any info would be appreciated. |

One Pats fan I know from Texas says he's nothing special

Most sites I've been to have him strictly as a 4-3 DE mainly because he can't set the edge well.

He said that he will be playing standing up tonight. The reports I read said that he was not big enough to play with his hand in the dirt down in mobile.
Academic All American who tested out of the Freshman year at Texas. physically he fits the bill, Almost 6'2 33 1/2 is arms 80 inch wingspread. |

He doesn't use his hands well, cant shed blocks, gets dominated at the POA, doesnt use his hands well, isnt a fast or explosive athlete, lacks agility to play on his feet, seems like a tweener without a true position. He doesn't fit our scheme as he can't play 3-4 OLB. |
