Why was Brady so off?
Nest to Cleveland and the Jest away that was TB's worst performance of the season by a long way, missed receivers, bad decisions, clock management, holding on to the ball far too long
Was it just a bad game, poor play calling, poor separation by the WR's, great jets coverage. All the above? |
Re: Why was Brady so off?
Probably all of the above. He choked hardcore. Looked almost scared out there, like a deer in the headlights.

Re: Why was Brady so off?
Was reading about how the jets players credited a new game plan to confuse brady and disrupt the time, it appears to have worked. So after reading that i put most of the blame on poor coaching by the patriots.

Re: Why was Brady so off?
Maybe he was afraid of throwing a pick

Re: Why was Brady so off?
I have no idea what has happened to Tom Brady. His performance last night reminded me so much of the Giant SB game. Brady looked flat, unemotional, confused at times. Did not look or act like a leader on the field. Brady lacks mental toughness right now and I don't know why.

Re: Why was Brady so off?
Brady is a streaky QB that needs to 'get a hot hand'. Kind of like a Shooting Guard in basketball that goes on a hot streak.
Jets found a perfect way to stop his momentum every time he marched down the field. Faking injuries and getting free time outs. http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-...e-offense.html |
Re: Why was Brady so off?
There was no disruption of timing. Brady had forever to throw. A passing offense finds it very difficult when neither wideout commands a double team.
