The going rate for a ticket to the first playoff game is $1000-$2600
per ticket at Seacoast Ticket Agency. Lots of tickets are available at these prices. The Pats should determine who supplies these tickets and revoke that person(s) rights to the tickets. There are 50,000 of us waiting to own season tickets. |

All Stubhub does is put people who are looking for tickets in contact with people who are selling the tickets. The price is set by the holder of the tickets. Stubhub will charge you 10% of the price. So if someone is selling a ticket for $800, you will have to pay an extra $80 to buy the ticket plus whatever service charge there is.

As much as I like free enterprise, I gotta admit that I personally despise these folks who use gawd knows what means to secure the tix in the first place and then mark them way up. I need to remind myself that people willingly pay those outrageous prices.
It does not seem like deep rocket science for the Karfts to determine who initially bought the ticket seat numbers that got scalped for $1,000, especially if they offered a hotline and web line where you could rat out the seat # without gameday consequence to you the buyer. |
