Anyone see Chung's interview on ESPN Firsttake?

I love being a fan of a team with class.

I heard that interview and immediately thought to myself,

"If anyone were to read the transcript of this interview, they would think it was with BB himself"

C/N He politely declined to comment on any of the Jests' antics.

Think about this, people.
Players get a bit frustrated by the Jets blathering and BB not allowing them to fire back. So, how does a player internalize this and respond? That's right, take out your frustration on the field, directly on the guys who caused you to be wicked pissed in the first place. Gotta luv BB

Does Rex even watch football? It is hard to imagine he does with statements like this.

Quote:

Sure, Tom Brady is great. So are Peyton Manning and Michael Vick.

But in Rex Ryan's always humble opinion, they pale in comparison to his All-Pro cornerback, Darrelle Revis.

"Quite honestly," the New York Jets coach said Monday, "he's the best player in football."

This wasn't today but I still have a question because I am surprised to see Rex keeping hitting at Brady :

===========

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slu...atriotsrivalry

When asked Monday what he thought of Brady going to see “Lombardi” on Broadway instead of watching the Jets’ game Saturday night, Ryan threw another jab.

“Peyton Manning would have been watching our game,” Ryan said with a huge grin.

Ryan understands how his comments could be taken as slaps at Brady, but “he took a shot at me by his antics on the field.”

Antics? Ryan was asked if he meant Brady pointing at the Jets sideline or looking at them after scoring.

“Just Brady being Brady,” he said vaguely. “I don’t like seeing that; nobody does. No Jet fan likes to see that. And I know he can’t wait to do it. He’s not going to say anything publicly, but he does it. It’s what it is. It’s my job to get him out of the end zone.”

===============

To those who were at the Nov game: was Brady taunting the Jets sidelines so much for Ryan to get pissed off?

Thanks,

He's a good defensive coach and his players love to play for him, I'll give him that.

But his methods are going to be tough on him when the Jets eventually hit a rough patch. ( Everyone hits one at some point) It's one thing to be as open and aggressive as he is when you are winning. But what happens when you don't?

It's like Chad Ocho Cinco, he' a funny and fun loving guy when the Bengals were winning, but when they were not, some people turned on him and said he was a distraction and selfish.

I'll say this much, looks like the NY sports media will tear you apparent if you are open or quiet or whatever. I guess Rex Ryan sees it as they are going to hammer him down at some point anyway, why not do it on his terms at least.

Another issue I see is there are still many Eric Mangini handprints on that squad. Revis and Brick and Mangold and some others were still Mangini legacies. What happens when Tannebaum has to reload on his own? Will they get more Joe McNights who aren't super helping them?

I will say this though, he has to completely change their FA dynamic, there have to be players out there who want to play for him.
