Taking the real view...
With the Giants game won, it is refreshing to consider that the Patriots Coaches apparently coached for the Patriots best interests in the playoffs.
They sat down starters Steven Neal, Kyle Brady, Nick Kaczur, and chose not to activate old pro Troy Brown and let old pro Chad Brown leave. They also sat ST mavens Willie Andrews and Kyle Eckle, which may have hurt on the Giants KOR for a TD. There was speculation that in a playoff game only Eckle might not have suited up. So Belichick sought to win #16, but still rested his injured or dinged up guys for the playoffs. He kept his eye on the Real Prize. Something that no one seems to notice, or credit. It is something that proves that he is the greatest active Coach in the NFL. |
Re: Taking the real view...
Good point. I thought that on Sat AM, and then forgot it.
Wonder why, (might have been the 12 hours of driving, tailgating, watching, and tailgating some more) |
