Predict PATs Divisional Round opponent

It looks like four most likely possibilities.

If Jets beat KC then Jets
otherwise
a Wild Card winner, (Ravens or Steelers) Or Colts.

Who do you think it will be

we have not had a postseason game with the colts in a while, might be time to renew that playoff rivalry this year

Jets will play KC and win

Can the Colts get the 3rd seed still?

Re: Predict PATs Divisional Round opponent

I think the seeds work out this way:

2 - Ravens (I'm picking the Browns to spoil the Steelers bye week plans)
3 - Chiefs
4 - Colts
5 - Jets
6 - Steelers

Jets at Colts: Colts win
Steelers at Chiefs: Steelers win

So in the poll I voted for the Jets then I had the Pitt epiphany and now I think it might be the Steelers even though everyone assumes that they'll beat the Browns (not a bad assumption, mind you - I just have this hunch).

The Jets WILL win the opening round and if they are the sixth seed they will head off to Foxboro....the NFL will have its greatest playoff game in 3 weeks

Colts get the #3 seed by beating Tennessee, plus Chiefs losing at home to Oakland. Anything else and KC is #3.

Colts are eliminated with both a loss, plus Jags win at Houston - but it looks like Jacksonville is without MJD for that game.

Any other combination than the two scenarios above and Indy is #4.

KC can only be #3 or #4.
Baltimore can only be #2 or #5.
Jacksonville can only be #4 or miss the playoffs; they cannot be a wild card.

#2 seed can only be Pittsburgh or Baltimore
#3 seed can only be Indy or KC
#4 seed could be Indy, KC or Jacksonville
#5 seed could be Ravens, Jets or Steelers
#6 seed can only be Jets or Steelers

Since the Pats are the #1 seed they cannot play the #3 seed in the division round, regardless of what happens in week 17 or in the wild card round.

Ravens...I'm on the fence about either them or the colts. I believe the chiefs will beat the jets and head on to pittsburgh who they will also beat and lose in the AFCCG in foxboro.
