Does the subject have to give permission for this type of cover? It's pretty funny, but I can't believe BB would actually want this picture to appear.

It doesn't sound like BB was offended or anything like that. According to Mike's Blog BB thought that it was funny.

Thanks Defense - I saw that after my post. I guess they don't have to get your permission if you are a "public" sports figure! Glad BB has a sense of humor about it!

The anti-Belichick and anti-Pats bias by the media is disgusting.

Put Belichick in a grumpy cover on SI, while ESPN runs an article about if the Pats are the most hated team in history.
