Noisegate II

OK, apologies if someone mentioned this and I missed it, but at some point during the game, we heard the same exact sound affect that we heard during the Indy games that raised a lot of hackles, and which many viewed as proof that the Colts are piping crowd noise through their PA.

I still think that the Colts are guilty as charged, but it does appear that the sound glitch was exactly was CBS indicated it was: an audio problem on their part heard only on TV, and not a smoking gun.

Yea, it was broadcast. I was at the game and didn't hear anything out of the ordinary.

watch what you say about stuff like that around here. Don't you know that CBS was covering for the colts because the entire NFL has a giant conspiracy against the patriots?

I heard it too when they had a shot of Maroney sitting on the bench.

Ya, me too, just typical loud crowd noise, no skipping

CBS's broadcast was horrible. The signal kept freezing for most of the game. Are they outsourcing to India or something?

Actually it was a reverb noise but not of the crowd...just a modulating noise.

I thought that might have been Comcast. I switched to the low-definition channel and didn't get the saem problem (of course, I also got a lousy picture ...)
