They are too gd cheap they have to restock their English soccer team. It seems they forgot the golden goose that got them where they are.

doesn't bother me ... I'm thinking their medical reports were behind their 2 year offer. Give him 4 years and you have another over priced DH like we have now. Never felt he was really into being a Red Sox player ... so MEH.

Maybe he's not worth 12 million per year? He'll be missed but there is such a thing as value.

If Henry doesn't start spending some money soon, he's going to be run out of town in a hurry. There's some definite moves that we need to make this offseason. For one, I'm absolutely shocked that we weren't all over Cliff Lee.

The Sox are saving their money, and payroll flexibility, for next offseason when the big guns come on the market. Fielder, Gonzo, and some guy named Albert Pujols. Ever heard of him? :D Seriously, they want to make sure that they don't handcuff themselves till then. Scutaro, JD, Cameron, Papelbon, and Papi's money all comes off the books next offseason. That's a lot of coin to throw at 3 of the premier sluggers in the game. So expect patchwork for 2011, and an all out blitz the year after.
