Question for NFL Network subscribers?
How did they respond to the Patriot victory?

I have never watched the network but I assume Marshall Faulk discussed how BB must have made a deal with the devil or something.

They were giving the Patriots props - Deon Sanders made it a point to say with that coach and Tom Brady that team will go far....also emphasized the young rookies on D and O - how they are getting it done.
The only danger they said is in the playoffs - have to button up on a few things and play to BBs scheme perfectly to win in the playoffs..... |

Re: Question for NFL Network subscribers?
Dukes proved (beyond a shadow of a doubt) that he really dislikes NE today. You could tell from his tone that he was clearly irritated NE won the game. And then at the end of the segment he threw out this bizarre rhetorical question: "How's Brady doing without Moss?" in a sort of haha I told you so tone.
Of course we've lost one game since trading him. Clearly Jamie was unaware of that. Dukes is AWFUL and has been for some time. I actually like Irvin, but Saturday night he didn't include NE in the top two AFC teams, instead he say NYJ and Pittsburgh were the top two teams. For a minute I thought the show was recorded before the beatdown last weekend. |

8 TDs, 2 INTs 111/182 (61.0%) How's Randy doing without Brady? 1 Win, 5 Losses 1 TD on 11 Rec *Not counting today's games. |
Re: Question for NFL Network subscribers?
In general NFL Network is balanced -- individuals may be biased but there is a such a large group of them (Gameday, Total Access, Playbook etc) that it balances out. Often panel discussions (TA, Gameday) have friendly arguments between differing points of view.
Some people there are very Pats-friendly, Michael Lombardi and Brian Baldinger immediately come to mind. Shawn Springs was on Playbook this week. But there are very few that are consistently biased. I have heard even Marshall Faulk say nice things about the Pats at times. I agree that Jamie Dukes is bad, he's one of the worst, but he is not really representative of the network as a whole. |
