Does anyone else wanna strangle Jim Nantz?

When we went up 31-14 and he mentioned we were in the exact same position last year I wanted to reach through the TV and strangle him.

Between him jinxing us constantly throughout the game to Simms's Cold (Which sucks cuz he's the only one I like on that crew) the commentating blew today. Not to mention the microphone distortion from all the ubiquitous Manning knob slobbing.

Anyway, I'm happy we won, but God I'm sick of that guy.

I knew it was the same type thing, and told my wife before Nantz ever said it. I imagine most of us remembered it and don't fault them for bringing it up.

I did feel bad for Phil, though. He sounded like he gargled a box of razor blades at halftime. Hope he feels better by Thursday.

No. There is no such thing as jinxes. It's the Patriots defense you should want to strangle. It was a victory which did not leave me feeling good. If not for a pretty much unforced error by Manning on his final play, we blow a 17 point lead for the second consecutive game against that team. The offense tried to sit on the lead and the defense is terrible. It was win, we're 8-2, we've beaten the Colts and Steelers in back to back games, but I still have an uneasy feeling about this team.

Biggest Colts homer.

i feel like he jinxes us too. Everytime he says something like "Brady hasn't been sacked in 3 games", Brady get sacked. "Brady hasn't thrown an interception in 3 games" Brady throws an interception. Drives me nuts. I dont hate the guy but I wish he would stop saying things like that sor my own sanity.

I was on board until this line. I knew it was a bad throw the second Manning let it go because Cunningham was all over him.

I don't have any problem with him except for the fact that he has called 100 pats games and still says Wilferk.

On another commentary-related note, did anyone see the Jest game and notice how much the commentators were slobbering all over the Jest (but mostly Sanchez and LaClassian)? It was disgusting.
