Let's be serious folks: we all want the Jets & Pats to be 9-2 entering the MNF game.
Let's be serious: What would be best for the NFL, for Jets fans and Patriots fan alike, is if the Jets march into Foxboro tied with the Patriots at 9-2. Wouldn't the game have more meaning if the winner had sole possession of the best record in the NFL (assuming, of course, that Atlanta loses a game)?
Imagine the hype...the subplots...the intrigue! Rex Ryan vs Bill Belichick! Mark Sanchez vs Tom Brady! Danny Woodhead vying to get revenge! The rivalry over the years! Both teams signing players from the other team for intel! Jets 5-0 on the road this season facing a Tom Brady led Patriot team. A QB that hasn't lost a home (regular season) game since a 17-14 defeat Sun Nov, 12th 2006 vs the Chad Pennington led Jets. Not to mention the back and forth that will be on these and Jets' message boards. We want both teams at 9-2. That'll make the win that much sweeter for the winning team. |

You are the ONLY ONE who wants the Jets at 9-2 and not at 8-3
What are you thinking? :bricks: |

I want the Jets to be 8-3.

I'd prefer the jests were 0-11. Thank that Texans pass defense, makes our youngsters look like Clayborn and Haynes.

I want to go back in time and make it so that the Jets are 2-9 coming into NE in two weeks. I want the Pats to win the division and have the #1 seed. That means I want to see the Jets lose all of the rest of their games (actually I want that to happen anyway even if I knew for a fact the Pats would win the division, the #1 seed, and the Super Bowl no matter how the Jets do vs. anyone else other than the Pats).

The Jets should have lost that game today.. Hunter got away with a HUGE hold on the pass to Edwards on the sidelines..
Personally, I want the Jets to be as bad as they can possibly be and not playing way beyond their means.. |

Let's be really serious. I want the Jest to lose next week and every week for the rest of the season.

Absolute double face palm ultimate fail by the OP.
Do you really think that there was a single Pats fan that was hoping the Jets would come back to win today? Let me put the shoe on the other foot: how many Jet fans were rooting for Manning to throw a pick at the end of the game? |
