Punt for entire first half against Jets?

I think Bellichick should punt on first down for at least the first quater against the Jets to humiliate the Jets. Then come back an win in the second half.

I'm sure the Pats' defense would love that.

Maybe instead they drive the legnth of the field, but just kneel down instead of scoring, so the defense gets the break they need.

Then they kill them in the second half.

Nope. That won't work either.

Think of our offense as being run by Bruce Dickinson. In the huddle is heard the following:

"I got a fever and the only prescription is more Touchdown."

Man even if the offense punted every posession, I wouldn't put it past our team to still turn up with 7-14 points.

as much as we hate the jets and are better than them...they arent a high school team. not saying we give them any respect or anything but the best would be to play the game like we would play anyone else.that to me will tell more about this team's focus and disregard for who the opponent is. We try to do something out of the ordinary because of the jets is a sign of our own weakness. Screw the jets.

Re: Punt for entire first half against Jets?

Here is how the game should work out.
Scoring plays: NE - 1 play, 75 yard TD pass to Randy Moss.
NE - 1 play, 60 yard TD run by Laurence Maroney
NE - 1 play, 80 yard TD pass to Randy Moss
NE - 1 play, 66 yard TD pass to Donte Stallworth
Repeat.

For the third quarter, up 70-0, pull Brady and take a knee on every play.
In the forth quarter, put Brady back in and throw for a few more huge TD.

No you guys got it all wrong activate Troy Brown as the emergancy QB then have him and Welker trade snaps for the entire forth Quater passing to each other jsut to see who can get more TDs

Then the D could just sack the Jets in the endzone, get the two points and let the O drive down the field again. We should 16 points on safeties and win 16-0.
