Pats: "Disdain" for NFC opponents
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/column...t&lid=tab2pos1
"In fact, several New England veterans, none of whom wanted to be identified because of obvious consequences, noted that the Patriots' coaching staff prepares for games against NFC opponents harboring what one player termed "something bordering on disdain." "Said one New England player: "It's not a lack of respect. It's more like, 'Hey, [the NFC] just isn't as good as us.' That feeling just [emanates] from the top on down when we're playing an NFC team. I mean, doesn't it show?"" This reminds me of something Seymour said after the Minny game last year. He basically said that they weren't surprised that they dominated because it was an NFC team. |
Re: Pats: "Disdain" for NFC opponents
Wow, this seems totally made up. I mean, ESPN is now creating "bulletin board" material out of thin air by "anonymous" players in the hopes that the Eagles can rally. Call me a conspiracy theorist but this strikes me as k9 feces.

Is there a reason ESPN choses to use this picture of BB all the time? Pathetic. |

Are you guys kidding? There would be no stories if it weren't for anonymous sources. Ever heard of Watergate?
Like I said, Seymour let something about this slip after the Minny game. I'm not surprised at all that they feel this way. |
Re: Pats: "Disdain" for NFC opponents
I am getting sick and tired of ESPN.

Several players noted that one player said coaching bordered on disdain. Actually I can't get past the first sentence where several New England veterans yakked to an ESPN talking head. |

What's more likely, Pasquarelli blatantly fabricated quotes for no good reason, or some players made some offhand comments that they didn't want attributed to them? |
