I love this kind of stuff. NFL.com just put up a video of Brady's 43-yard TD pass to Randy Moss against Buffalo. I love it when professionals break down plays for the rest of us.

Brady and the rest of the coaching staff are just too damn smart for most teams. One of the reasons they are doing what they're doing this season is due to them being smarter than everyone else. Sure, they are talented and well coaches, but they are also smart football players.

Interesting. Can't tell why Wilson, with deep coverage on Moss' side, would go up for the seam route and leave Moss alone -- did TB deke him?

i think we should credit Welker for that TD.....he saw it very easily, and he is the one that adjested his seam route, so that in went behind the middle LB, hence holding up the safety and making him move towards Welker instead of doing his job and covering Moss...

i think we just may have one of the smartest WR's to ever play the game in welker...........and according to BB, moss as well

Because he is basically left on an island. He is one man trying to cover two receivers and he is trying to make it look like he is gonna jump both routes and he ends up not coverring either. This is a very obvious sign of good play design and good play recognition.
Bottom line is that if you rush 2 guys on Brady, with our o-line, he will find the open guy every time. It is amazing to me that Jauron thought it would work. Did he watch the Colts game, the only way to rattle Brady is to hit him repeatedly, otherwise this team is simply too good. Moss, Welker, Stallworth, and Watson, you can't double everyone and Brady will find the single coverage.

I liked the Jauron words 'he has a strong arm'. In Brady's early years, we weren't completely sure of that, maybe because he wasn't called on to throw deep as often. Somebody else pointed out in another thread that he's throwing the tightest spirals in the league this year. On that last pass in the video, the only wobble came from the stitches on the ball. I think Tom's been pretty good this year. ;)
