Back to the Future
It was 1985, when Doc Brown invented the "Flux Capacitor" and Marty McFly pushed the Delorian to 88mph to travel 30 years into the past. Wow, things were certainly different in 1985.
Its a good time to reflect on this fim, being the year 2010. In the movie, Doc and Marty Travel into the future...the year 2015...in that time they have Hover Boards, Flying cars, Fusion energy, weather control, Self tying shoes, self drying jackets, Hydrating food machines. Here are two sites that show how the film got it right and wrong 11 Predictions That Back to the Future Part II Got Right - 11Points.com 11 Predictions That Back to the Future Part II Got Wrong - 11Points.com The laserdiscs killed me... |
Re: Back to the Future
This reminds me of the movies 2001 and 2010 which IIRC were released in 1968 and 1985 respectively. In those movies we have bases on the moon and regular passenger shuttles to and from those bases.
But what amuses me the most about those passenger shuttles is in each movie, they are being flown by Pan-Am Airlines. :D |
