I hope they get up 35 in the first half and then take a knee the entire second half.... now that would be an insult.

Re: 30 Seconds To Go Against The Jets....
Woody Hayes was once blowing out Michigan, scored and went for 2.
After the game he was asked why he went for 2, and his answer was "I couldn't go for 3" |
Re: 30 Seconds To Go Against The Jets....
My first thought is that they will "run up the score".
But I think it would be hillarious if we get 35+ points in the first half and then have Brady play only on our side of the field in the second half. Then have Cassell come in when we cross the 50, let the play clock run down to 1, take a knee three times and then punt. That would have me crying from laughing so hard. All we will hear is how "classless" they are for embarrising the Jets and making a mockery of the NFL. The hypocrisy from the talking heads would be classic! |

Re: 30 Seconds To Go Against The Jets....
I think a cool idea would be for the Pats to just hand over
all defensive signals to the jets in front of the whole stadium before the game. Then proceed to annihilate them using those signals. What would they say then? |
Re: 30 Seconds To Go Against The Jets....
If they're up 92-0 with 10 seconds and they throw, that would be the biggest disgrace in NFL history.
