Monsieur DGAmeguy's Guide to Football etiquette: Week 9
Let's look at some examples of situations "classy" teams may be confronted with, and how they can avoid them hmm?
Example 1: A Gentleman Never Spits
Oh Mr. Florence...tsk tsk tsk. Spitting at an opponent is never classy, especially when they're dominating your side of the ball. A personal foul for unsportsmanline conduct in the red zone? No not proper at all. I suppose the only good thing is that it was inside the ten, so you didn't lose a full fifteen yards. Perhaps you should take a lesson from Robbie Alomar?
Example 2: Hosting Guests does NOT mean you can treat it like a Van Halen Concert
This for the shiny knights in white and blue. Didn't former Vice President Al Gore teahc you anything? Pollution in any form is a major social fax pas, even noise pollution. Don't be surprised if you experience a rude time at Monsieur Belichick's dinner party in January.
Honorable Mentions: The Saints throwing late and young Master Peterson going for the record books.
Feel free to add your own. Perhaps we can pass them along to Dean Easterbrook.

Wow and Dallas is throwing late downfield and for touchdowns up 25. Something tells me John Dennis and Easterbrook will not be pontificating about this game this week....
