Bruschi Interesting Take
They're talking about running it up on Patriots Replay on Patriots.com . I'm going to paraphrase Bruschi:
The defense is trying to preserve the shutout even at the end of the game. It's never right to let them score. So why shouldn't the offense has the same opportunity? |
Re: Bruschi Interesting Take
absolutely. fans pay to see a football game. both teams should play hard for 60 minutes regardless of the score. if the other team doesn't want to play anymore, the refs should call the game.

Re: Bruschi Interesting Take
Yeah, and I know there's a million threads on this already. But nobody ever says it's wrong for a defense to shut another team out. I don't think that's EVER been said.
So why is it supposed to be different for the offense? I think this could really be the end-all argument to the talk Bruschi is just such a smart, good guy. I wish he'd make the Hall. |

Not to mention an onside kick by the Skins after they scored.
