How Moss Became a Patriot

Interesting background from Andrew Brandt at National Football Post on the competition between the Patriots and the Packers to secure the services of Randy Moss in 2007.

Randy's rant; was almost a Packer (twice) | National Football Post

Surprised about the salaries, but i think the Pats got a great bargain. He still looks in great shape to me.

Looks like a pass happy offense again, maybe we can at least vary it more so the defenses don't catch up with us when it counts.:(

I hope he's here next year, just picture our offense without him... Just doesn't seem right.

I hope so but the silence on a new contract is worrying. I am hoping it is the case only because they are considering the possibility of a lockout.

I belive he will also, he loves it here and I think they want him here. If theres a lockout obviously no ones gonna be signed but if they work out a new CBA you'll see a lot of guys get signed immediately and I think thats when they'll address Moss.
