Rodney & the Red Zone
The one blinding stat that I have noticed about the Pats is their red zone defense. In a word awful. If opponents get inside the 20 on the Pats its money in the bank. So I have been thinking about this a little and the one glairing piece to the puzzle that has been missing in my opinion has been Rodney Harrison. So many times in the last few years I can remember BIG plays from Rodney in the red zone. Now he is coming back (played a little in the Browns game) and things seem to be tightening up a little. I think this will change this stat dramatically. This is my theory, what to you guys think?

Re: Rodney & the Red Zone
Why not. He's the enforcer.
I would hope the encouraging play of the other safeties means this is just an abberation (we haven't let many red zone opportunities occur) but Rodney is Rodney. |
