Great story of a guy who was cut from an NFL roster and years later at the age of 42 he was teaching at a catholic school and the next minute he receives a phone call to join the Patriots as a LS and long snapped the ball to Vinatieri for the game winning FG in SB 39 Just goes to show any former player in his 40s who thinks that his career is over just never knows when the next phone call will come and is asked to help thier team out (see Vinny Testeverde who is projected as the possible starter this week at te age of 43) |
