Has any team been a 15 point favorite this early in a season?

Pretty much sums up how dominate this team could be this year.

The only thing that is going to stop them is alot of key injuries (cross fingers)

its actually 16.5 and I can remember the Colts in 2006 (If I remember correctly) were 18 point favorites against the Texans early in the year week 2 or 3.

Any one who has seen BB coach for any amount of time, knows that he goes out of his way to NOT run up the score, unlike say Tony Dungy.

He wants to win comfortably, and would rather run the clock with a run game when he has the lead, rather than take chances and try to roll it up.

He wants to train his players in playing with POISE in tight situations. You will have those situations against good clubs in the playoffs. You need to practice to excel in such situations.

He does not want to provide any ammunition for the next time he faces the opponent by rubbing it in. BB thinks ahead.

That's why the Pats will not cover the 16.5 UNLESS the Bills absolutely lay down. The Pats will probably rush for 250 yards. More probably, a 24-10 score is more likely.

Except when they play the jets later this year. My money says BB will do everything he can to embarass manjudas

I agree that BB will use the running game if they get a comfortable lead, but they will still mix in the passing game a bit though. If the Bills secondary doesn't have a good day, then even if Brady is limiting his attempts, he will still probably throw 3TD purely because of the speed and talent of our WR. I don't see how we score under 35 points. The running game should get us at least 1 or 2 TD and the passing game should get us at least 3TD.

You mean the Pats "act like they've been there before," to quote social philosopher Philip Rivers? :D

So you're saying the D and STs will be taking the game off? :)

Oh no, I was just talking offensively. The D/ST (minus FG) will probably score 1-2TD.
