Ratgate 2.0: Jets-Ratgini Spin Machine Kicking Into Gear Today....
Reading the NY papers and some websites written by lawyers who cover the NFL, we now have the "its Tannanebaum, its Steve Scharneccia, Mangini didnt rat our BB" crap coming out. Kind of pathetic to see it take this turn, but Mangina is trying to de=spin the fact that he is a rat.

Good. He's probably the one leaking it, which I'm sure is going to p*ss off Tannebaum and Scharneccia. What a putz this guy is. Does Mangini have control of the organization or not? Because, if he does, than this is ultimately his responsibility. Period. He's going to shift the blame to a GM and an assistant coach? Puhleze. Mangini is a clown. It's only a matter of time before his own assistants start leaving and leaking information to the media about what a fraud this guy is. R-A-T. Rat.

If it wasn't him, he will never say so in a press conference, of course, but he might call BB and explain to him. If nothing else (if this is true), at least they can now shake hands after the next game and avoid two weeks of media talking about it. In fact, if they want to minimize distractions, they could talk each other up the week BEFORE the game. Felger and his ilk will still yap it up, but it will kill some of the mind-numbing "analysis" we will be getting the week befroe the game if it is obvious they are going to shake after the game. |

Whether it was EM or not, it's his responsibility. The buck stops with him. They wanted to "model" themselves after the Patriots, that's the way it goes.

They'll pay with a miserable regular season record. Let them spin that. :rocker:

I'm still wondering what Belichick said to Mangini after the game - it was about a sentence long and like the length of "Good game, good luck next week". Of course since then we know both coaches know what happened before halftime. It was so quick I can't imagine it was anything too much but I still wonder.
