OT:Is the App State upset less impressive...?
Now that Oregon has succesfully debunked Michigan as a top tier team, should the 'experts' reneg on their claims of last week's 'greatest upset ever'? Its not exactly fair to the kids from App State but its not like Oregon is a top 10 team and they killed UMich by 30+ today in the Big House too.

Re: Is the App State Upset Less Impressive....?
i don't think so for two reasons:
1) oregon might not be highly ranked, but theyre still a member of a major division one conference, and could be somewhat expected to be competitive with michigan 2) michigan's season effectively ended after the app. state game, they're probably still feeling the effects of that. we might have expected them to come out extra motivated to play for their pride, but they're certainly not playing for much else right now. |

It's too bad for guys who were expected to be top draft picks like: Henne, Hart, Long, Manningham, etc. I wonder if this will effect their draft status in any way.
