The Pats brought in Bobby Hamilton, Cedric Killings (DT - most recently with the Texans), and Willie Whitehead (DE - most recently with the Saints).

I talked to Bobby Hamilton for about a 1/2 hour in Miami one year and he's one of the nicest guys you could meet. At that time he said he hoped to retire a Patriot.

I agree with you comletely. I just don't see the need for a washed up D-lineman. The fact that the Jets didn't want him should be a sign. They probably just wanted to talk to him about the Jets defense, that's it.
