it's funny, almost everybody characterized the moss acquisition as a "luxury", yet there seems to be an awful lot of concern about him either not being ready for week one or not able to play at all. while i would be disappointed not to see what he and brady hooking up might be like, i still believe he's a luxury we don't need to win.
Let's face it folks. There's going to be some key pieces of this team who don't make it to January. There always are. But this remains the deepest team in the NFL. There is no justification for concern of any kind. |

I have to admit I am guilty of starting to worry a little bit myself. I think it stems from the fact that I, along with many of the other worriers as well, felt like Seymour and Moss were just being held out until the third preseason game for precautionary reasons but now that we're just 12 days from the first game and there's still no sign of either at practice, that's the reason for our concern. Just want to be hitting on all cylinders when the season starts. I'm sure they will both be back if not for the Jets game sometime shortly after. But we've been waiting since April to see what Brady/Moss can do together. I'm sick of waiting.

This is equivalent to buying a brand new Lamborghini and locking it in the garage for the first few weeks of ownership. It's a new toy, and you want nothing more than to try it.
