FWIW; Bethel Johnson to Texans

If only he had more than a ten cent head to go with the million dollar body... He'll never amount to anything close to his potential. Too bad. |
Re: FWIW; Bethel Johnson to Texans
Good for him. Still in the league.

Re: FWIW; Bethel Johnson to Texans
thats his best spot right now for an opportunity. Andre Johnson is 1 starter..whos the other. If he worked harder at the mental part..he can be special. Hes fast..looks built..strong. Hes made some nice plays on offense and special teams. He needs to be consistent with hands and learn playbooks and routes.
can u believe hes already 28? wow i remember getting so excited after his surgery and how good he was in minicamp and 1 of the offseason winners. he needs to stay healthy first of all. hes always hurt. |
Re: FWIW; Bethel Johnson to Texans
Just goes to show, there's a real dearth of good receivers around the league and so teams are prepared to take a chance on the "could be" guys. Good luck to him, I guess.

Re: FWIW; Bethel Johnson to Texans
Bethel issomewhat overly maligned on this board. He came up and made any number of big plays for the Pats over the 2004-2005 run. True, he never materialized into a top notch #1 guy, but he did make some game-changing contributions.

I wish him well. He helped us more than he hurt us, I can state quite subjectively.

Isn't Bobby Grier with the Texans? To him, Bethel = Tony Simmons, part II. Bobby will never learn.
