Jim Gilmore Wants Redeployment

The GOP cut and runner is right now taking the position of Jack Murtha on redeployment. More republicants will surely follow, and follow the lead of the majority of the US electorate who want out yesterday. He is using an open letter to the WH taking the position that we need to reduce the US footprint in Iraq. Wow, what a leader! He sees what a joke his party has become clinging to a fairy tale, and now he's changing course.

Is this a RINO, or is the writing on the wall...the beginning of the end?

Petraeus is now suggesting the surge will need 10 years. I suppose I can wait that long, I wonder if our armed forces can.

who needs troops? we can privatize the whole thing... send our loyal young Bushies over there to fight it out and "make a difference" while reaping 4x the money in their own pockets than troops make ... and heck, they don't even haveta adhere to Geneva or Hague ... they're private! hooray!

Lord knows the average American kid coming out of high school has no desire to join the military and fight the neocons' war of aggression against the wrong enemy...

what gives you that idea? As they find there are no jobs left for them (all the "min wage" jobs went to illegals), they'll have no choice but to grab a gun and head straight to Ramadi and Samarra.

Um no, thats what perpetual warfare in a conflict with no identifiable enemies tells me.

i love when the right plays the absolute final card when defending Bush and the failed Bush doctrine: ... referencing the mirage that is the current U.S. unemployment rate...

Say what you want about Bush - and there's plenty bad to say - but the economy is doing just fine for the to and the bottom and those in between.
