Any news on Anthony Waters?
Waters was supposed to have worked out on Tuesday, though there were rumors floating around he'd have to postpone again. This was a highly anticipated workout because Waters was considered a potential 1st round pick before he tore his knee up in the 1st game of the 2006 season.

Re: Any news on Anthony Waters?
Duee to injury, Waters was unable to attend the Combine or work out at Clemson's Pro Day on March 13. Although still not 100 percent, he had a personal workout at Clemson on April 3, running outdoors on FieldTurf. Twenty NFL teams were represented. Waters (238 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.69. He also had a 34½-inch vertical jump. He didn't so the long jump or any other sprints but did well in position drills.
pretty good #s considering how much time hes missed |

Waters did attend the combine and was measured and weighed, though he did not partake in any drills other than the bench press. |

Re: Any news on Anthony Waters?
Under the circumstances, those look like good numbers all around. Waters' strengths seem like a good fit -- strong with his hands, sheds blockers, nose for the ball in traffic. If the team emerges from the opening rounds without an ILB, he'd be an attractive target.
