Read the other day in Newsmax or Worldnet, that kids in California were getting high using the very available medical marijuana..... if you were to read between their lines it was suggested that Med Marijuana is readily available to everyone out there.

When I lived in Me. Med M was approved, the only problem was how do you get it? There was a story about a guy with MS or something who was allowed to medically smoke, grew his own and got busted for growing it.. not sure if it ever was resolved, but Harry Boy would know.

Now, I must say that I understand the other side of the story. There are other things you can take that can relieve pain - medications and what not. It IS still illegal...

NO, in some cases there is not other medications and what not. I forget the name of the talk show host who says marijuana is the only relief he gets from his sickness. This lady in the article is grossly sick, the herb helps her, evidently nothing else does. I don't get why people are opposed to her smoking. Meanwhile, its perfectly alright to sell and market cigarettes which are a known cancer causing agent and a deadly disease. But hey, lets not be hypocritical.

Even if a candidate supported legalizing marijuana, they'd never admit. It would be political suicide. That battle's going to have to be won at a state level first.

By the way... DuPont Chemicals is reason for MJ being illegal.

Its all about making sythetic materials instead of using cheap hemp.
The term "Marijuana" was made up to scare people. Check the funding of such cult classics as "Refer Madness" etc.

Weed really isn't any worse than alcohol. and there WAS a 19th ammendment at one point.
