if we trade 28th for a second and a third
we could get like 12 or 13th pick in the second and third rd for our 28th
were prob gonna have about nine picks and about six holes to fill so we will move up in some spots but gettin our second back and an extra third would be pretty nice and then we can always trade a sixth to move up a few picks in some spots ect any takers? |
Re: if we trade 28th for a second and a third
If we take a lb and a ss we have to stay where we are. The latter rounds can be used for wr's since the draft is so deep in them.

Re: if we trade 28th for a second and a third
I've posted this several times. If Patrick Willis falls below #15 we should trade our 2 first rounders to grab him and a mid 2nd rounder. The value chart works out that way.
I think Willis is the only player worth doing that for. He is only of the few ILB's that can play both the 3-4 and 4-3 effectively. |

I bet we just stay where we are as far as the first round is concerned.
haha and that's all i got.:singing: sorry. I just have a feeling. Just like i feel like we are drafting Meachum for sure if he falls to our pick. |

But maybe others have him as a mid 1st. it's all in the eye of the beholder. |
Re: if we trade 28th for a second and a third
Another poster pointed out in another thread that trading down is not as
attractive as it once was. First round draft picks can be signed for five years and rounds 2 thru 7 picks only four years maximum. Clubs like that low rookie money to offset veteran money. |

2nd round pick money at five yrs was nice cant do that anymore :( |
Re: if we trade 28th for a second and a third
If at the 28 pick, no players the pats FO feel are worth taking there, then I would love to make that trade happen if there were any takers. Great way to get an extra pic, or more ammo to move around in the golden rds. 2-4.
