They Made Me Do It

A boy in Massachusetts takes a knife to school and stabs a classmate to death, the “killer kid’ is a Stephen King fan, he didn’t use a Gun so the “gun nuts” can’t blame Smith And Wesson he used a knife, maybe it was the knife’s fault, the knife said to the “killer kid” that morning “take me to school with you today and I’ll kill somebody”.

It may be to early to predict this but it looks like the Liberal Media has solved the “killer kids” problem already, it’s not a Gun, it’s not the knife, the Brady Gun People haven’t come out of retirement to start a “Ban the knives” movement, you know who’s fault this all is, it’s Stephen Kings fault for writing books, Stephen King made him do it, in the world of Liberalism the killer is never responsible it is always somebody else (he was poor) or some thing (usually a gun) that made them do it, when Ronald Reagan was shot many far left whacko’s blamed Reagan himself for saying “Ketchup Was Food”, ha ha , remember that one.

Here’s the link, when this goes to trial Stephen King will think he’s been hit by another truck, this kid will be a Celebrity and the “dead kid” is dead.

Harry the Herald is considered right wing media.. not sure your point, the prosecution paints a pix of a kid influenced by a book and it becomes associated with the left wing?? This looks like a defense tactic, not a prosecutorial tactic. Not sure how you connect the dots on that one, but then again not sure how you connect the dots on most things.

6000+ posts. He's gotta be saying something, just can't figure out what. Clam digging must be slow.

There's no "GUN" to blame so they're going after King

I've always said they should ban knives. This wouldn't happen in a chopstick using society.

In any case, I'm sure King loves the publicity.

Maybe right wing for Massachusetts. :D

Anyhow, nothing like public education. I think the person who gave the kid the knife back and told him not to do it again could have a future at the UN. :D

The toy gun thing is dumb, what kid didn't have one, but the knife should have been treated a little differently.

Accused murdered never punished for bringing knife, fake gun to school

SUDBURY - Parents are outraged that John Odgren, accused of fatally stabbing another student in January, previously brought a knife and toy gun to the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, and nothing was done about it.
"This is unbelievable, to have a revelation like this. Not only did the psychologist not report this to the principal, but he or she handed the weapon back to the student at the end of the day. How ridiculous is that," said Rick Johnson, the parent of a 15-year-old at L-S.

According to Police Chief Peter Fadgen, in late September, Odgren, 16, asked a counselor questions about what would happen if someone brought a knife to school. Following the conversation, Odgren then handed over a 3-inch pocketknife.

"(The counselor) said he put it in a manila envelope, put it in his desk drawer. He reported it to his supervisor that he had this turned into him," Fadgen said.

The incident was never reported to Superintendent/Principal John Ritchie, and at the end of the day the knife was given back to Odgren with a message to never bring it to school again, Fadgen said.

Not defending what anyone did or did not do, but in this sitz understand that the kid was somewhat of a naive kid (SPED) and whoever assessed the situation did not respond appropriately. But in that business and any associated kid business, there are times when we all wish we had looked at a danger signal and taken action. Unfortunately, the counselour made a bad assessment.. not sure if there were protocols for this type of activity. There are no winners in this case, imagine how the counselour feels who did not take him seriously??

I wonder if this kid was drugged up by the state. Wouldn't that be interesting.

From the article:

According to state law, any student found with a weapon can be expelled from school. Earlier this year, Ritchie explained that the policy at Lincoln-Sudbury requires a formal expulsion hearing to take place after a student is found to have a weapon.

If the student is deemed to be a threat, he or she would be expelled. If the student was found to simply have bad judgment, he or she would be suspended for three weeks.

Jack Ryan, a member of the L-S School Committee, said there is no question school policy was not followed.

"We have to look into what the circumstances were surrounding these events to find out what happened, and why school policy was not followed. The administration should have been informed of this incident," he said.

Not sure what you mean by drugged up by the state, don't you need parental authorization prior to the administration of any drugs.

You do yes, but the public edjamacation system has been pushing parents to drug their kids with increased regularity these days. I'm wondering how many of these school fiasco's are committed by kids on the schools Tony Montana Program. :D
