SI feature on Thomas from last November

I haven't seen this posted. It's a link to a major Sports Illustrated feature story that Peter King did on Adaleus Thomas last November. Lots of quotes from the Ravens coaches and Thomas. Good read, especially because it's not loaded down with all kinds of free agency spin.

AWESOME. A leader, talent, and community man.
Plays ILB/OLB/S/CB, has covered Chad Johnson before, played the most snaps of anyone in 2005, and is into Chess and politics.

A true renaissance man.

"What's the Iraq war all about?" he said, his voice rising. "If it's about oil, just say that. Don't give us this Weapons of Mass Destruction crap when all you find is three firecrackers."
That's fantastic, the guy has balls to be able to say that in the NFL... he's the type of guy who loves to learn and explore his intellectual side. He'll fit in well in our defense.

Glad to hear stories like these and have that guy on the Patriots. Patriots have needed to address their linebacker situation for a couple years now and have done so with little excitement. This is definately exciting when you consider how versatile the guy is and how BB might be able to use him.

As much as it is a testament to AD, I think it is just as much a testment to Rex Ryan as a coordinator and Ozzie Newsome for drafting the guy. Unfortunate for them, they primed him to be a force with the Pats from the word "go".

2007-2008 should be fun to watch!

Question, do I buy my AD Thomas jersey now or wait till mid season?

He wants to play TE, too... He'll fit right in.

Wow. I LOVED the bump and run thing. That made me laugh.
