Looks like the Jets are creating additional salary space and I guess Booby Hamilton will probably retire. |
Re: The Jets have released DL Bobby Hamilton
if he does retire thanks for a few good years and thanks for helping us win our first title. he had a nice little sack dance.

It's like a bloodbath today.

Re: The Jets have released DL Bobby Hamilton
Barlow - Blaylock - Bobby Hamilton - do you see a pattern here? Coincidence? Or does it remind someone of a certain coach with the initials BB?! (And I don't mean Brian Billick!)

Re: The Jets have released DL Bobby Hamilton
Hamilton was a very, very good DE for us from 2000-2003.
Seeing him cry after SB36 brought tears to my eyes. And to think the FO let him sign with Oakland, to be replaced by...Marquise Hill. Good luck, and good health, to you, sir. |
Re: The Jets have released DL Bobby Hamilton
Bobby Hamilton, Adam Vinatieri, and Lawyer Milloy were the
three players who attended Portland Maine's salute to the Pats after winning Super Bowl 2002. I got to be in the parade complements of the PPD. I got to ride in a cruiser behind the fire truck that carryed the players. |
Re: The Jets have released DL Bobby Hamilton
One of my favourite moments on the Superbowl 38 season DVD is seeing Bobby Hamilton getting really tense and nervous towards the end of a key game, and he's sitting next to big Willie who's saying: "Calm down, Bobby, calm down. You're going to give yourself a heart attack!" (or words to that effect)
I liked him a lot. |
