Old fashioned justice

Quote:

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica (AP) -- A tour group of U.S. senior citizens fought off a band of muggers in eastern Costa Rica, sending two of the assailants fleeing and killing a third, police said Thursday.

One of the tourists -- a retired U.S. serviceman whom officials estimated was in his 70s -- allegedly put Warner Segura in a headlock and broke his clavicle after the 20-year-old and two other men armed with a knife and gun held up their tour bus Wednesday, said Luis Hernandez, the police chief of Limon, 80 miles east of San Jose.
Don't mess with a retired US serviceman.

Try to make this short, when I was in Alaska I stayed with a guy in his B & B, he owned the whole town. Told a story about a young guy who tried to sell drugs at the local high school. One day the drug dealer showed up dead. The coroner, who wore a couple of hats did what he did. The guy I stayed with asked the coroner a couple of months later how the dealer died, the coroner replied, "he died". No more questions, there is justice in this world.

That's kinda messed up. Patters won't like that.

Sounds a lot like the justice dispensed in China now. Those Enron guys would have fried in China for doing similar things.

I hope the vigilante was caught and convicted of murder in a court of law. That's a disgrace if true.
