Ventrone to the Jets
Oh those Jets.....
February 21, 2007 Ventrone to Jets Former Patriots safety Raymond Ventrone, who was waived by the team last week, has signed a free-agent contract with the New York Jets. Ventrone had initially joined the Patriots as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2005. The former Villanova standout spent most of that season -- in which current Jets coach Eric Mangini was the Patriots' defensive coordinator -- on the practice squad. Last spring, the 5-11, 200-pound Ventrone started 10 games for the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe but required shoulder surgery upon his return, thus costing him a chance to make the Patriots' roster. **per Reiss |

[Seriously, though, I hope it works out for him--except if/when he plays the Pats.] |
Re: Ventrone to the Jets
They have no pride. They continue to take scraps from our table.
Jest fan should be ashamed but if you are a Jest fan you have no shame anyway. |

True, bad analogy on my part. but then again Ventrone was not a Pat when the the Jets sighned him either. Maybe Mangini sighned Ventrone for sentimental reasons. |
Re: Ventrone to the Jets
This tells me our safety roster is deeper than their safety roster.

Re: Ventrone to the Jets
Hope they patted him down on the way out!
