Congratulations to the Colts
Congratulations to the Colts.
They took our best shots and didn't lose poise and didn't quit. They fought back and won on this day. They were the better team today.:( Now go out an uphold the honor of the AFC and beat the Bears! I'll be rooting for you. :) And of course: ...Just Wait till next year...:D |
Re: Congratulations to the Colts
We had about 2 threads like this last night. Sorry but enough already. Screw the Colts.

Re: Congratulations to the Colts
Congrats to the Colts, you were the better team last night. Good luck to you in representing the AFC in the Super Bowl.
Pats fans, don't forget we still have Tom Brady, he will still have more rings than Peyton will have the next time these two meet again. A Super Bowl ring for Peyton will only add to the legacy of the greatest rivalry of this era. |
Re: Congratulations to the Colts
Congrats to the Colts. They stepped up and played their hearts out. They intelligently took advantage of our exhausted, injured defense, and also outfoxed our offensive coordinator for the biggest collapse in AFC championship history. Every thing they needed to do to win, they did, and we have nothing to be ashamed about. In a way I'm glad the Colts finally won in a big game, because it makes this rivalry even more intense.

Re: Congratulations to the Colts
I'd honestly like to root for the Colts and uphold the AFC, but Polian, Dungy, and Manning are such whiners, I just can't do it!
I respect what they accomplished, but these 3 creep me out! |

"I just got to say what a class organization the New England Patriots have," Manning said. "What they've done in the NFL the past number of years has been nothing short of incredible. The way some of their players came up to me after the game and sent their best wishes, I really appreciate it. It says a lot about the players they have." Among the Patriots who congratulated Manning were Tom Brady, Tedy Bruschi, and Kevin Faulk. |
Re: Congratulations to the Colts
I feel a lot different after this loss than I did after the loss to Denver. The Broncos didn't earn that win IMO & I couldn't root for them to advance. In this case the Colts made all the adjustments to have a huge comeback & their OL tired our DL out with long sustained drives. I'm stunned, but at the same time happy for the Colts & wish them all the best in Miami.

I learned quite a bit of German ("und ... ja ... Peyton Manning hat noch einen ersten Versuch erzielt!") and anyone who was in the room with me at 4.30 a.m. would have learned quite a bit of English. My goodness, it was a painful last 35 minutes. But I haven't had an internet connection to come on the board and congratulate the Colts or commiserate with my fellow Patsfans till now, so I'm going to take it, thread police or no thread police. Peyton Manning isn't my favourite human being, but yesterday he played a great, great game. If you love football and aren't blind you have to respect that. Today my main feeling is sadness that Asante Samuel and Ellis Hobbs ended up on a losing team and in future Patriots fans will forget that each of them played a game for the ages. Congratulations to them too! |
