Similarities to 2004 AFC Championship at PIT

While the Patriots meltdown was occurring, I coudln't help but think about the last AFC Championship game that the Patriots played in.

Remember that in that game the Patriots had a big halftime lead, I think it was 21-3. The Pats third touchdown in that game was also scored by the defense (Rodney Harrison).

The Steelers made a serious rally in the third quarter, but the Patriots were able to withstand that barrage and respond with touchdowns.

Today the Pats responded to the Colts comebacks with field goals, and it wasn't enough.

Yeah, it's easy to forget the Steelers drew close but kicked a FG instead of going for a TD which would have made the game far too interesting.

Yea, they responded with FG's and way too many 3 and outs!
