Eric Alexander?

how come this guy played most of the game
he didnt play at all this yr
this just doesnt make sense to me
i guess they wanted vrabel on the outside
but why make that switch now?

They probably made a switch because in SD TBC was getting torched on run D. I thought Alexander did a good job considering the situation, although they did pick on him.

They decided to put Vrabel out to get more of a pass rush in the 2nd half. I thought Alexander did a good job overall, I can't fault him for getting beat by a WR on the last drive.

nice stat line (10 solo tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble,) but part of that might reflect him being "victimized," i.e., every play going his way because he could be had. I wasn't focused enough on the individuals, swept up in the emotion.

Ugh. The breakdown will be painful.

I was focusing on Alexander. He was all over the place because the Colts kept throwing at him the whole damn game, usually to Clark over the middle. He made his tackles. You can fault a lot of people tonight, however Alexander is not deserving of blame.

tough to have your first start against Manning and co..

i think he played well..he hits hard ..i saw about 2-3 good hits from him

he looks pretty big too..was in pretty good coverage most of the game

im hoping we resign him..give him a shot to eventually start and keeping playing great ST

I thought it was because Colvin was out of the game. I think the announcers said something about him being ill with the flu, but I was watching in a sports bar and it was noisy and hard to hear. But he definitely wasn't on the field after the 2:00 warning of the first half. And Vrabel was out of there a lot of the time too.

OK, thanks. But did Colvin play in the second half? I didn't see him.
