Let's win it for... (inspired by SoSH)

...Tom Brady, who carries the burden and pressure of being the face of the franchise, and has become the standard by which other quarterbacks are measured.

...Vinny Testaverde, who has participated in 20 professional seasons without ever reaching the Super Bowl.

...Reche Caldwell, who fought through knee injuries early in his career and found it within himself to become Deion Branch's heir apparent in the Patriots offense.

...Jabar Gaffney, Artrell Hawkins, and Ray Mickens, all left for dead, all wondering if they would play another NFL game, and getting the opportunity to contribute greatly for this team.

...Stephen Neal, who never played football until the Patriots gave him a chance, and has become arguably their best offensive lineman.

...Corey Dillon, who came under much scrutiny in his career as a malcontent only to join the Patriots united in their goal for glory and has been nothing short of a great teammate.

...Rosevelt Colvin, who did the opposite of what Damien Woody did, turned down bigger money with the Lions so that he could be a part of something special.

...Tedy Bruschi, and especially his family, for giving their blessing for Tedy to come back after suffering a near fatal stroke almost two years ago, to come back because he believes in the cause, and has been the epitome of Patriot pride.

...Troy Brown, the ultimate team player, considered too small early in his career, he's chipped in on all 3 phases of the game and continues to be a big playmaker despite his age.

...Rodney Harrison, who like Dillon went through much media scrutiny prior to joining the Pats, has battled through numerous injuries and keeps giving his heart and soul to the team.

...Junior Seau, who has forgone retirement because the Patriots believe in him and he believes in the Patriots that they can reach the ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl.

If you guys have more to add (and I know you must), please add your replies!

Yup...I think Curt Schilling was the guy who started that thread. This thread was influenced by that one but also some comments earlier in the season by NEM regarding Seau, and other people regarding Rodney. I really want the Patriots to win the Super Bowl as a fan, but also especially for those two. But there are more tributes on this team than just those two, so I figured this thread was fitting.

I posted something to the effect of...

"Let's win it for my grandfather who was buried in a Patriots themed coffin and had dust from the old Foxboro Stadium parking lot scattered over the grave."

Then I had written "wink wink" below that in white font.

My post lasted for about 30 seconds and then it was deleted... By a mod I assume.

...the future of the NFL.

If Polian's tactics are allowed to succeed, then the NFL will be a lesser league for it.
