All of Chad Jackson's Big Plays Have Been Away & On Turf
The Jets game - a leaping catch and a skinny post for a TD
The Vikings game - crawling into the end zone for a TD The Buffalo game - the flag route in the right corner of the end zone All away games, all on turf - the same turf as in Indy. And, not only did he not play against SD, remember he wasn't utilized much against Indy back in November. Look for the Pats to use his freshness and speed on punt (and possibly kickoff) returns, and to be part of the mix on offense. I'm predicting at least one big play from Chad tomorrow, and his speed will be a difference maker on the same turf that he first impressed NFL scouts at last spring's combine. QB12 |

I'm hoping that the Pats employ some unforseen wrinkles in the gameplan. If one of those is Chad Jackson, then all the better. The kids got wheels. |
Re: All of Chad Jackson's Big Plays Have Been Away & On Turf
The agression and speed of the Colts' defense plays right into the Pats' hands for a reverse and/or fake reverse to Jackson.

I know the hook and ladder is a big fad right now,but it would make my day to see Brady and Jackson hook up for one.

i would love just one big play from him tomorrow
but i expect much more next year from Chad Jackson |
Re: All of Chad Jackson's Big Plays Have Been Away & On Turf
I think Jackson sees as many plays tomorrow as he did in SD. Pats coaches seem to have as much confidence in Jackson as I have in getting a date with Salma Hayek......mmmmm....Salma Hayek (in his best Homer Simpson inpersonation).

Re: All of Chad Jackson's Big Plays Have Been Away & On Turf
I'm certainly not expecting anything but they've been close enough that it wholly reasonable something will happen. For the time being they've settled on using just the two WR but going downfield a couple of times to Chad would be interesting - also they like the WR screens against a poor tackling Colt team and they've thrown a few of those to Chad this season. He's certainly big enough to break the all important first tackle on those passes.

Re: All of Chad Jackson's Big Plays Have Been Away & On Turf
Everyone wants to see Chad Jackson do something, but the reality is that he is at the back of the depth chart. If the Pats go down by 2 TDs late in the game maybe you'll see him return a kick, hoping for a miracle, but in a close game you don't take the chance, not in the AFC championship, you go with the guys at the front of the depth chart.
