Chargers fans are buying into LT's "no class" myth
They are going bonkers over in the Chargers forum about oooh that was classless. And oooh how dare they celebrate on our field, on our symbol! ROFL Give me a break. We beat you there, we celebrate there. ( http://forums.chargers.com/showthrea...=1#post1391553 )
Let's distance it by going to another sport. Who ever heard of an NCAA basketball team winning a sweet 16 berth, and since it's not their 'logo' and 'court' they go quietly home to celebrate. Like NO! The fans are swarming the court. Everyone is jumping around excited. They are taking down the nets! That is called the spontaneity of sports and the thrill of victory. It just sticks in the Chargers craws especially because they lost at home. They were embarrassed in their own house in front of their own fans on their own field. That is what REALLY is bugging the Chargers. They just like to call it "no class" when in reality it is just the ultimate bitter pill that they can't swallow. Guess what. There's no crying in football. You lose. Take it like a man. You lost on your own field. Too Bad. Heck MORE SHAME on YOU for failing to defend your home turf! And then here comes the other argument out of left field - but what the Pats did was after the game. That's what makes it "no class". Oh really? What did the Chargers do AFTER the game last year? Did their coach not yell "that's an ass whuppin" and did not the charger player say "F*** the Patriots and F*** their fans?" Yeah the ultimate LOW CLASS team trying to tell the Pats how to be CLASSY. What a JOKE! The truth of the matter is that LT can't accept losing. And the only way he can shift the burden off his own shoulders is try to take a shot at the Pats and BB by calling them 'low class'. I think LT's entire publicity stunt is LOW CLASS. Shame on you LT and Shame on you sycophantic Chargers fans buying into the new 'mass opium' - We LOST but they had NO CLASS. So that's way more important!! Right keep telling yourself that if it makes you sleep better at night. I know Raiders fans were whining about the 'fumble' for years. And if you don't even make it to the big show next year I hope it eats away at you. Because it takes a real LOW CLASS individual to attempt to shift blame from himself by calling out other teams for responding to behavior that your own team instigated! |
Re: Chargers fans are buying into LT's "no class" myth
they cant face it..some this morning said wow LT made himself look bad by saying that..not good
but other than that..were the blame because we arent Chargers |
Re: Chargers fans are buying into LT's "no class" myth
Of course they are. They are going to go anything to vilify us. If they found out Tom Brady couched without covering his mouth they would jump on him. Anything to take their minds off that wonderfully devestating loss.
By the way, remember how Jets fans did the same thing last week saying that the Vinny kneel down was a shot at them? If you can't win the next best thing is to find a way to drag down the integrity of your opponent. |
Re: Chargers fans are buying into LT's "no class" myth
What else they got? The rug was ripped out from under their feat. They were already setting up their Super Bowl festivities. I'm not even doing that and the Pats are 1 game closer than Sandy Eggo ever was. :p

Ohh well... who cares if Chargers fans are bitter? So are Raiders, Jets, Rams, Dolphins, Steelers, Bills fans, etc. What matters is will Colts fans be crying this time next week.

Re: Chargers fans are buying into LT's "no class" myth
Oh yeah I almost forgot about the hubub about the Vinny kneeldown. I dismissed it as typical egotistical new yorker fans thinking everything is a shot aimed at their psyche. But yeah it is a coping mechanism.
When things go wrong humans look for someone, anyone, other than themselves to blame. What I really can't stand in this media circus affair is how LT "self-proclaims" himself as CLASSY. And then proceeds to badmouth the Pats and their organization top to bottom!! Yes that's right in his second press conference LT said it must start from top to bottom. He's not satisfied with badmouthing our coach, he wants to smear the entire Pats organization rep. And for what, on what basis, doing Merriman's "Lights out Dance"?? That is the most childish and most absurd reason to hold a grudge that I have ever heard of. What gets me steamed though is LT trying to use his reputation as a "CLASSY" individual in his smear campaign of the Pats. And of course Chargers fans are eating this up like opium candy! Yes the solution to your pain of course is to blame someone else! That just displays the LOWEST side of human nature in my opinion. If you got wounds little doggy go into the corner and lick em. Don't try to go all "holier than thou" when you know you were the dog that got outfought in the dogfight on Sunday!! |
Re: Chargers fans are buying into LT's "no class" myth
i would have had no problem with it during the game if it's not on the bolt at midfield, and after the game if it was just on the sidelines or not on the bolt, it's pretty classless.
just ask yourself what you guys would do if the chargers did some kind of dance on your midfield after a pats loss, or any team beating you at home and dancing on your midfield after a loss. i think LT was wrong to blame it on belichik sure, but it was pretty classless and rare because the pats are a pretty classy organization |

i think they're just looking for something to blame when marlon mccree is staring them right in the face lol. i think they'll cool off but i am thinking they bought into the hype too much, like they were some kind of promised and destined team. did you guys have to deal with that last year? or was it just like no big deal we'll just be back next year? |
