Watson and Wilfork this Sunday?
It seems like the majority of the NFL media are operating under the assumption that Watson and Wilfork were held out of last week's game for precautionary reasons, and will both make their returns this Sunday.
Do we have any solid information on this? They're both listed as questionable on the injury report, which tells us basically nothing. Is it possible either of the injuries are more severe than we've been lead to believe? |
Re: Watson and Wilfork this Sunday?
I think that's correct for Wilfork. His bags were packed and he was expected to play until they realized the field would be *****.
I'm expecting Watson to be out this week. |

I don't think it makes much difference for this game.

I used to worry about Wilfork, until Wright stepped up so big. He's a gamer. |

If I had to choose, I would say that I want Wilfork back more than Watson |

Remember, this is the super bowl for the sickly green crew. Any given Sunday, one day at a time, stitch in time saves nine etc............... |

Oddly enough it was Mike Felger that got me into thinking that. I had totally forgotten that, but he mentioned it on NEST last night. Playing a four man line would also combat Pennington's rolls as well. The more I think about it, the more I think that NE will use a 4 man line as their primary set. |
