Instant Replay and Challenges
If they are going to allow challenges, don't you think they should have a rule that the network has to manage a replay on any questionable play and all scoring plays within a reasonable time frame?
Detroit got screwed on Miami's TD on 3rd and goal. The players knee was clearly down outside the 1 on the replay they showed long after the PAT was kicked. Maybe Saban would have gone for it or maybe not down 10-0 in the first quarter, but it's just one more instance of they just can't get it right.
There should be a seperate system upstairs that starts showing the replays within 30 seconds whether they go out over the air or not. Being at the whim of directors who may be pressing to cut to commercial is no excuse for replay officials not to be able to show them to the team reps sitting right in the booth with them.
Changed the whole tenor of this game early on.
