Where is P cobbs headed next?

From what I understand he is guaranteed the rookie minimum salary from the Steelers.
Possibilities are:
Jets
Dolphins
NE PS
Steelers PS

Does that mean that once the season is over the steelers would have the best chance to sign him for next year?
(Assuming no other team picks him up during the year)

Damn.....I was hoping we could get him back for free. The Steelers are having some success with free agent RB's (see Willie Parker).

All we have to do is offer him a contract for the 53 man roster.

He is free to sign with any NFL team that offers him a contract and a spot on the 53 man roster at any time this year.

Re: Where is P cobbs headed next?

Mike Prisuta had written that since the Steelers released him when they did, they no longer owe the Pats a conditional pick. That might change if he stays on the Steelers PS, so it's likely in the Pats best interests that he stays in Pittsburgh.
