Doth my ears deceive me? football talk on EEI this morning?
 

As I normally cannot stand the morning show, I was listening to WEEI ever so briefly this morning and heard them talking football. I was very excited to hear this. Patriots talk during baseball season on the KKK show. Unbelievable.

However, it was too good to be true. John Dennis and Steve DeOssie were discussing the Patriots but it was more of the same. Every close win the Pats had last year was a potential loss but every close loss was not a potential win. The losses of Givens, Vinitieri, McGinnist, etc far out weigh what their replacements bring. Rodney is a questionmark, Bruschi is a questionmark. After about 45 seconds of this I turned it off.

Did anyone stomach the whole thing? Was it all negative? Maybe I just caught them at a bad time...:confused:
